    15 years ago Jessica Rambo left the monotony of community college and joined the Marine Corps as a combat cameraman; sending her all across the world and giving her the opportunity to meet some incredible people. Things took a left turn when she was in a terrible car accident that eventually led to being medically separated from the Marine Corps. Like many veterans, transitioning out of military service was a bumpy ride. Jessica struggled with addiction to pain medication, opioids and lithium. She was treated for bi-polar disorder, began experiencing manic and depressive symptoms, and her family relationships were falling apart. In this interview, Jessica talks candidly about how she managed to crawl out of this dark hole and how she found a path forward with two of her passions: art and helping veterans.
