We receive our hammocks directly from a certified fair trade supplier in Yucatan, Mexico. Over 880 individual makers hand weave each hammock from the comfort of their homes. With each hammock, Maca includes a sleeve, sack and straps for an easy setup anywhere you go.
$5 dollars of every product purchased goes to a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of the makers and their families.

Taking it back a couple generations. We never met our grandfather but legend has it he was one hell of a fisherman. This photo is of our grandfather winning the largest catch in the annual Tarpon fishing tournament in Ciudad...
We are brothers with a dad from New York and a mom from Mexico. We grew up in Texas but spent our summers in the Yucatan with our mom's side of the family.
We have special memories of our time spent in Mexico. Memories of eating corn on cob smothered in mayonnaise and chili powder, brotherly fights over who got to sleep in the hammock, and our clan of aunts dragging us out to dance salsa at our cousin's quinceaneras.
We believe that too often the news tells us about the negative things happening in Mexico. We want to do our part to remind everyone about the positive. And there is a lot of it!
Maca's products bring some Mexican spice into your outdoor fun. We hope our products give you a taste of the beautiful culture we love so much. Enjoy!
Mucho amor,
Los Hermanos
